Drawing elements from jazz, pop, electronic soundscapes, and musical theatre, her songs unfold like cinematic films, carried by warm vocals, raw honesty, and driving melodies. With a love for vintage aesthetics, Rosa is unapologetically herself, living in a world that feels timeless, classic and expressive.

Surrounded by music from a young age, Rosa grew up listening to classic artists such as ABBA and The Beatles, with her pop playing a pivotal role in shaping her deep connection to sound and storytelling. One of her earliest and most powerful memories is watching her pop perform in a band, accordion in hand - a moment that left her in silent awe. She only ever saw him play once and never knew how deeply he loved music, but that glimpse stayed with her. He passed away when Rosa was young, and they never had the chance to explore music together. In many ways, creating and performing music has become a way of feeling closer to him, and he remains the reason she chose the singer-songwriter path.

Rosa holds a Bachelor Degree in Songwriting from JMC Academy, where she embraced her role as a performer and songwriter, shaping her music from first lyric to final mix. She is hands-on and detail-focused, also expressing her creativity through video editing, crafting visuals that mirror the heart of her songs. Recently, Rosa shared the stage with Australian Idol winner Iilysh Retallick at the Howlong Christmas Festival — a moment that highlighted her ability to connect with audiences and celebrate music in community spaces.

Rosa is a proudly left-handed musician and former member of The Rivereens, a Corowa, NSW band. Her song “Ghost of Your Angel” received airplay and an interview on ABC Radio, marking a meaningful milestone in her journey. She is currently in the process of writing her debut album, building a body of work that reflects her melodic instincts and personal storytelling. Rosa also features in a captivating duet with Dylan Forge, “You Are Mine,” highlighting the power of collaboration and rich harmonies, where “the chemistry is unreal. It gives you shivers.”

Above all, Rosa Bella remains committed to being authentically herself — letting melody lead, and telling stories that linger.
